Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a rapidly growing technology which can supplement the current radio-frequency (RF) based wireless communication systems. VLC play huge part in solving ever-increasing problem of spectrum scarcity because availability Emitting Diodes (LEDs). One biggest advantages over other systems that it provide illumination and data simultaneously without needing any extra deployment. Although essential to rate at blazing speed all users nowadays, maintaining satisfactory level distribution lighting also important. In this paper, we present novel approach using mirrors enhance uniformity throughput an indoor multi-element system architecture. approach, improve Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) overall room by redirecting reflected LED beams on walls darker spots with use mirrors. We formulate joint optimization focusing maximization SINR while reasonable across room. propose two-stage solution problem: design solution. optimization, equivalent binary linear achieve best quality optimizing mirror placements LEDs’ transmit powers. problem, however, aim fair utility metric maximizing minimum user’s rate. Due non-convexity three different heuristic solutions analyze their performance. show about threefold increase average fourfold be achieved when placement applied significant performance improvement.
